Leadership
Northwest students will understand the effective and ethical leadership and will practice the skills required to engage it. With good teamwork comes effective leadership. From being so involved on campus, I have grown tremendously in my leadership skills. I feel confident being the leader in the group and using my skills to change my organizations for the better.
Panhellenic President
As President, I oversaw all 5 sororities on my campus. I also had 7 other people on council with me that I oversaw and delegated tasks to. I planned two events where over 500 people attended.
ASA President
As President, I oversaw over 100 people in my chapter. My term was during COVID-19 and a probation, so my leadership skills definitely advanced during this time.
Student Ambassadors
Executive Board
Being a Student Ambassador on campus shows great leadership skills. Not only did I give tours, but I was on the executive board. I was trusted with the responsibility of teaching new ambassadors the facts and terms.
ASA Panhellenic Delegate
As Panhellenic Delegate, I worked with my specific chapter and the 4 others. I promoted our events and theirs, and was in charge of redoing bylaws and presenting them to my chapter.
ASA Assistant to
New Member Education
This position worked closely with our New Member Educator in my sorority. We taught new members about our sorority and its terms and values. We ended up having a 100% retention rate because of our leadership skills.

Homecoming Co-Chair
On our campus, Homecoming is one of the biggest times of the year. Over 7,000 people come to town every year to witness the parade. For 3 years I oversaw all of my chapter's homecoming activities.

A standards committee in a sorority talks to women struggling with the process. Being a part of this committee showed me the importance of privacy and being dependable.
The National Panhellenic Council Student Advisory Committee has 8 women on it from across the nation. We were deemed the best leaders to be a part of this committee. I meet with them once a month to go over improvements in our national community.
Northwest's Student Senate is made up of students from the multiple different populations on campus. There are typically 4 representatives from each class, and the one deemed President received the most votes from the student body. I was so happy to be the primary voice for students in my grade.
