My name is Annaliese Punt. I write stories ranging from the reserve football team's recent win all the way to the importance of making sure students aren't sleep deprived. I write for my school, but also for my entire state, and you could even say the nation. I don't censor myself, I let the world know that times have changed, and there is no room for suppression.

I take action photos. The Millard United Rugby team and the Show Choir groups have pictures that will last them a lifetime because of my hard work and dedication to my publications. I've attended all types of sporting events that I wouldn't have if I wasn't a journalist.

I hope for a better world, where student publications can speak their minds and not be held back by a person of higher authority. Throughout my years of journalism, I have strived for the best stories, given the worst circumstances. I am not afraid to speak up.
